Miguel Ferrer was born on February 7, 1955 in Santa Monica, California. Initially, this Puerto Rican-American actor was frequently cast as a villain in movies. But after much exposure, he landed more promising roles. His film credits include Miami Vice, Chips, Will & Grace, Twin Peaks, RoboCop, Deep Star Six, Revenge, The Harvest and The Manchurian Candidate to name a few. Moreover, he is part of the series Crossing Jordan where he portrays Dr. Garret Macy.

Dr. Garret Macy is Jordan 's boss who deals with her unpredictable behavior. Aside from this, he deals with his confused teenage daughter and his own personal issues. Previously, he had a handful of relationships starting with Lily Lebowski , ADA Renee Walcott, Charlie Davis, and of course, his one-time wife Maggie Warner.
