Jill Hennessy was born on November 25, 1968 in Alberta, Canada. She is popularly known for her role as Claire Kincaid on the series Law & Order. Her rich heritage enables her to be multi-lingual, being able to speak French, Italian, German and Spanish. Previously, she starred on the Broadway musical Buddy and portrayed the role of Jackie Kennedy in the film Jackie, Ethel, Joan: The Women of Camelot. At present, she plays Dr. Jordan Cavanaugh in the television series Crossing Jordan.
