Jane Lynch had her share of the Criminal Minds spotlight last season as her character Diana Reid struggled with her mental condition and was even held hostage by Cat Adams (Aubrey Plaza) and Lindsey (Gia Mantegna). But since Diana has been safely returned and has reunited with her son Spencer Reid (Matthew Gubler), will she still return for season 13?

Lynch couldn't say for sure if she'll appear in the new season of Criminal Minds but the Glee actress is very much open to returning if needed.

"I don't know if you're going to see Diana Reid again. I hope you do. I would love to come back," Lynch told TV Guide during the Television Critics Association summer press tour. "She's in a very interesting place right now. She's suffering from Alzheimer's but she has moments of perfect clarity. She and Matthew Gubler's character have a very interesting, very complicated but very loving relationship. It'd be great to dive in to that again."

At present, Lynch is part of the miniseries Manhunt: Unabomber. She is also the host of NBC's Hollywood Game Night

Would you like Lynch to reprise her role as Diana in season 13? What storyline do you see her fitting into?
