It’s time for the weekly poll for all you Criminal Minds fans! With the seventh season now complete after last night’s bittersweet finale (and farewell to Paget Brewster), I thought we would take a look back at the best moments from the season and discuss our favorites.

My answer: A — As much as I loved JJ’s wedding and the way the writers handled Paget Brewster‘s exit, I have to go with Emily’s return in “It Takes a Village.” The events of her return unfolded perfectly, as Doyle was brought back into the mix through Morgan’s investigation and Emily’s presence was needed to find Doyle’s kidnapped son. This moment could have been over-the-top or taken too much away from the rest of the episode, but the Criminal Minds cast and crew found a way to make it impactful without detracting from the rest of the story. I loved Hotch’s explanation of what happened after Emily was shot and how he took full responsibility for the decision to fake her death. The reactions of each team member were also perfect. I think it was spot-on how easily Garcia and Rossi accepted Emily’s return, while Morgan was more hesitant. Shemar Moore delivered a wonderful performance in this scene, as he looked completely shaken while the others managed to switch their focus back to the case. There were many wonderful moments throughout the season — far too many to fit in one poll — but the team reunion has to be one of my favorites.

After you vote, leave a comment telling us why the season 7 moment you chose was your favorite.
