CBS Picks Up 'Hawaii 5-O', 'Criminal Minds' Spin-Off, Four Other Series
CBS has reportedly picked up at least six new series for its upcoming fall season.

Leading the new pick-ups is the remake of the classic crime series Hawaii 5-O, the much-buzzed about project from Fringe producers Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman and CSI: NY producer Peter Lenkov. The reboot features Three Rivers' Alex O'Laughlin and Lost's Daniel Dae Kim in lead roles, along with Taryn Manning, Grace Park and Scott Caan.

Among the other dramas CBS picked up are legal drama Defenders, starring Jim Belushi and Tanya Fischer, and police drama Blue Bloods, starring Tom Selleck and Will Estes. The Criminal Minds spin-off, which features Forest Whitaker and was introduced in a Minds episode last month, is also a go according to Entertainment Weekly.

CBS has also chosen two comedies: the Chuck Lorre-produced Mike and Molly and the Twitter-inspired comedy $#*! My Dad Says, starring William Shatner. However, the role filled by his co-star, Cougar Town's Ryan Devlin, is reportedly being recast.

Full details are expected to emerge as CBS presents its new fall schedule on Wednesday.
