Premise: This CBS crime shows follows a team of profilers from the FBI's Behavioral Analysis Unit in Virginia.

Criminal Minds returns next month for its fourth season on CBS. In season 3, David Rossi (Mantegna), a founding member of the BAU, took over for Jason Gideon (former cast member Mandy Patinkin). Gideon left the BAU after the tragic death of his friend Sarah, who was murdered by a serial killer. The team is led by Special Agent Aaron Hotchner (Gibson), who recently brought on Emily Prentiss, the daughter of powerful and influential diplomats. Rounding out the unit are Special Agent Derek Morgan, Special Agent Dr. Spencer Reid, Jennifer "JJ" and Penelope Garcia.

In last season's finale, the BAU raced against time, trying to figure out if a series of shootings in New York City are random occurrences of the work of a serial killer. The episode, titled “Lo Fi”, ended with a shocking explosion that left three members of the BAU in grave danger, and only two of them will survive. It won't be until season 4 premiere that we'll find out which BAU member didn't make it out alive. Will it be Garcia, Jareau, or Detective Will LaMontage?
