Kathryn Morris was born on January 28, 1969 in Cincinnati, Ohio. Previously, she toured the country with her family's gospel band, Morris Code. She appeared in films and television shows like As Good As It Gets, Xena, Pensacola: Wings of Gold, Minority Report and A.I.: Artificial Intelligence. Presently she is the lead star of the television series Cold Case where she plays Detective Lilly Rush. Lilly Rush is a detective in the Philadelphia homicide squad. She currently works on "cold cases", crimes that have never been sold over the past years or even decades. She makes use of her fierce instinct and today's technology in finding clues that will help her solve the cases.
