
Lily Rush returns to take on aging evidence and witnesses with buried memories, uncover fresh clues, dig into old wounds and pursue the truth on the sixth season premiere of
Cold Case tonight at 9pm ET/PT on CBS.

In the season opener of
Cold Case entitled “Glory Days,” Lily and the team re-open the 1973 case of a murdered football player when new evidence surfaces indicating an earlier time of death than originally reported. Adding to the mystery are hints that the victim may have also been involved with a steroid cover-up.

Joining the principle ensemble in tonight's season opener is Emmy Award winner Bobby Cannavale who returns as Narcotics cop Eddie Saccardo. Cannavale is perhaps best known for his role as Bobby Caffey on the NBC police procedural series
Third Watch.
From 2004 to 2006, Cannavale had a recurring guest role on
Will and Grace as Vince D'
Angelo, the first long-term boyfriend for Will (
Eric McCormack) on the show, for which he won his first Emmy Award as "Best Guest Star in a Comedy Series". He has also appeared in films such as
Snakes on a Plane, The Guru, Shall We Dance? and
Romance & Cigarettes, and guest starred in
Sex and the City, Six Feet Under, Oz, Law and Order, and its spin-off series
Law and Order: Criminal Intent and
Law and Order: Special Victims Unit.
Also featured on tonight's episode are Aaron Hill (Mike "Bad Moon" McShane), BJ Britt (Tom "The Breeze" Bernard), Clifton Powell (Tom Bernard), Tom Griffin (Asst. Coach Walters), James Karen (Steve Pratt), and James Read (Prof. Robert Boreki), just to name a few.
