Close to Home Hey, it's a Jerry Bruckheimer show! On CBS!! I think we need some government intervention to stop the production of law-centric television shows. We have enough now, we've had enough in the past, courtroom scenes have gone beyond formulaic, and nothing new or interesting has come along in years. Saying that, Close to Home isn't a particularly bad law show; it portrays courtroom drama in the lens of Small Town, USA. Jennifer Finnigan is excellent as main character Annabeth Chase and this season should be interesting (her husband died in the season one finale).
