Chuck

Do you like stuff?  I bet you probably do.  Most people like stuff.  Let me ask you this:  Do you like gadgets?  Gadgets are a kind of stuffs, but they are all high-tech and whatnot.  If you're not sure, just assume you like gadgets, because you almost certainly do.  One more query:  Do you like Chuck?  Not Chuck from the hardware store or Chuck from your Pilates class.  Chuck, as in NBC's Chuck, the show about a nerd who is thrust into the the spy game.  It's a funny show.  If you've answered “yes” to all of the above questions (and there's no reason to think that you didn't), you are in for the opportunity of a lifetime.  Gizmodo, the internet's number one gadget blog, is holding a contest in which one lucky man, woman or child will win one thousand dollars worth of Chuck gadgets. 

All you have to do is answer five questions about gadgets, and the history of gadgets.  The questions are as follows:

    1.  Who first used the term polygraph?

    2.  Who invented one of the first covert listening devices, known as "The Thing?"

    3.  What does a Time-Domain Reflectometer detect?

    4.  Which of the following is NOT a real spy gadget?
            a) Spy Dust b) Bug c) Dead Telephone d) Solex Agitator

    5.  In the James Bond universe, Q was responsible for all of Bond's gadgets. Who was the real life                          inspiration for Q?

There is no word yet as to what the Chuck gadgets will be for the contest winner, but I'm guessing they'll be reasonably cool.  Maybe some night-vision goggles?  Perhaps a grappling hook?  What kind of gadget would you like to own?  

Chuck premieres its second season this Monday at 8pm on NBC.  I advise you check it out – you will not be disappointed.
