Adam Baldwin is best known for his role as Animal Mother in Stanley Kubrick's Full Metal Jacket. He was born on Febuary 27, 1962 in Chicago, Illinois. There he completed his high school and once worked as a truck driver. In 1980, he appeared in numerous films, but only gained recognition with his role as the troubled outcast, Ricky Linderman, in My Bodyguard. Baldwin then received bigger roles such as those in D.C. Cab, Full Metal Jacket, Independence Day, Smoke Jumpers and Serenity. His television appearances include those in Angel, NCIS, Men in Black: The Series and Stargate SG-1. His later appearance was in Chuck, the new CBS comedy/drama series.

John Casey is played by Adam Baldwin on the CBS series Chuck. Major John Casey works for the National Security Agency, and has been tasked to protect Chuck, an ordinary worker for Buy More Electronics Store, as he accidentally downloaded all of the government's most vital information into his head. Chuck then becomes the new target of assassins and international terrorists, and John is tasked to guard Chuck with his life.
