Yesterday, NBC announced its unprecedented promotional campaign which will allow viewers to sample full episodes of new and returning shows prior to their broadcast premiere this fall season.  In fact, the network will be utilizing several distribution platforms to carry out this mission, with the help of Comcast, Cox, Charter, DISH Network and Verizon FiOS TV, which will all be making full episodes available in high definition.

NBC will also be teaming up with Hulu distribution partners including Yahoo, MSN, AOL, MySpace and Fancast.com.  The announcement was made yesterday by John Miller, Chief Marketing Officer, NBC Universal Television Group and President, The NBC Agency.

The shows, which will be available for immediate viewing and download through Amazon Video On Demand’s online retail store, will also be available on Xbox Live on Xbox 360, and with Zune Marketplace, which can be accessed through Microsoft’s Zune player.

"This campaign represents our most comprehensive plan ever to gain widespread attention on multiple platforms for our new and returning fall series," Miller said in an official statement.  "In addition to providing sampling of our shows, each partner is providing promotional exposure that will help these series succeed on both new and traditional platforms.”

NBC and their digital media partners will be bringing fans the full episodes of the series or season premiere episodes of Chuck beginning September 22, followed by its television season premiere on September 29.  Fans can now log on to the official site and see the link to the special web premiere of the new season.

Other shows provided by NBC through the campaign are Lipstick Jungle, which will be available beginning September 17 with a television season premiere on the 24th, Life, which begins distributing on September 22 and debuts on television on October 10, Kath and Kim, which will be released on October 2 with a television series debut date of October 9 and Knight Rider, which will be available beginning September 17 through digital media and on television beginning September 24.

For those who prefer to watch Chuck on their television screens, mark your calendars for its return on September 29 at 8pm.
