Chuck has been off the air for more than nine months, so tonight's season 2 premiere at 8pm on NBC will be a test to see how the writers' strike really affected last year's freshman shows. Will the fans come back, and will new fans give it a chance?

BuddyTV attended NBC's fall premiere party and spoke to several Chuck cast members on the red carpet. Joshua Gomez, Sarah Lancaster, Ryan McPartlin and Zachary Levi all stopped by to talk about the changes for the new season. Continue reading for the highlights and to see our exclusive video interviews.

The big change for Morgan is the hair, as Gomez got a hipper, cooler haircut over the break. While the goal may have been to get women, he claims it hasn't worked, though co-star Sarah Lancaster seemed to find it quite appealing,

Before you suspect that Morgan and Ellie still have a chance, a big part of the season will see Chuck's sister and Captain Awesome planning their wedding. McPartlin is confident he'll be around to weather the storm of preparation, provided he stays in shape. Though he denied any contractual obligation to appear in every episode without his shirt on, he joked that if he doesn't keep his physique in tip-top shape, the writers might bring in a newer, hotter love interest for Ellie.

Levi was ecstatic that the producers have added the Buy More staff to the regular cast this season, since they are an integral part of the Chuck family. This means viewers can expect more Jeff, Lester, Anna and Big Mike storylines in season 2.

Finally, since this was an NBC party, we asked what other NBC shows the Chuck cast would most like to guest star on. Levi, like many other stars during the party, admitted he'd love to have super powers on Heroes, though he also showed some love for the Thursday night comedies. McPartlin would like to use his family's background in sales to show up on The Office, which he praises for its realism. And Joshua Gomez would most like to appear on…well, his answer is so inappropriately hilarious that I suggest you watch the video to see his answer and Sarah Lancaster's reaction to it.
