Josh Schwartz has done well since
The OC went off the air. Wunderkids like Schwartz (who became the youngest show runner in modern TV history when he took the helm of
The OC) have a tendency to fizzle out quickly, but Schwartz took little time in proving that he wasn't going to be a one hit wonder. The season after
The OC sputtered to its abrupt ending, Schwartz struck back with two new series:
Chuck and
Gossip Girl. While he is the executive producer of
Gossip Girl, he's far more involved with
Chuck, writing many of the episodes and acting as the driving creative force behind the series.
Chuck, though the less media-hyped of the two series, has still done well for itself, earning a second season from NBC. As the
Chuck team gets ready for production, titular star
Zachary Levi dropped some knowledge on a TV Guide reporter while at Sunday's benefit for the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation.

NOOOO! Not the Wienerlicious! I can't believe they are getting rid of it. Maybe Sarah will have to work ...
Guest Stars
Levi let us know that season 2 will feature guest appearances by actors Michael Clarke Duncan and John Larroquette. The beastly Duncan, perhaps best known for his role in
The Green Mile, will play a bad guy. That's all we know, but it's enough; Duncan is made for bad guy roles. John Larroquette (
Night Court) will play a veteran spy, who teaches Chuck how to seduce the ladies.
Chuck Dies
Here are the quotes from Zach Levi about season two, in general: "It's twice the action, twice the drama and twice the romance. It's Chuck squared." He added: "Chuck dies, twice.” Chuck dies? How are they going to pull that off? I mean, once I understand. But twice just seems ridiculous.
Goodbye Wienerlicious
Sarah Walker (
Yvonne Strahovski) will find a new job. That means goodbye to the Wienerlicious, and goodbye to the wonderful Wienerlicious uniform. I'd bet, however, that the Chuck team finds an equally silly place of employment for Sarah, hopefully with an equally as inspiring uniform.
Which is the better guest star?
