Late last month, we reported that NBC ordered more
Chuck episodes on top of the second season’s 13 episodes. In fact, there will be nine more to add to the already star-studded season, which kicks off on September 22 with special web premiere, and on September 29 on television screens.
Chuck star
Zachary Levi spoke to TV Guide in June, promising that the second season will be 100% better than the first. He said, “It's twice the action, twice the drama and twice the romance. It's
Chuck squared.”
To heighten up the excitement, we bring you a few spoilers for the highly anticipated new season, which brings us guest stars Michael Clarke Duncan and
John Larroquette of
Boston Legal.
The season premiere of
Chuck, which airs on September 22 at 8pm, will feature Michael Clarke Duncan as Colt, an intimidating agent whom Chuck is tasked to prevent from retrieving the Cipher, a device that could lead to a new Intersect. Chuck also discovers that the success of this mission would eventually warrant him a normal life. Happy to hear the news, he asks Sarah out on a real date. However, bad news comes when they discover that Chuck is still the old Intersect. Additionally, Casey (Adam Baldwin) deals with a difficult order assigned to him. Back at Buy More, Morgan (Joshua Gomez) comes up with a creative way to hire a new assistant manager.
The second episode, entitled “Chuck Versus the Seduction,” brings us Emmy Award winner John Larroquette as he guest stars as the phenomenal debonair spy Roan Montgomery and
The O.C. star
Melinda Clarke, who plays the sexy and dangerous spy called the Black Widow. Chuck is tasked to go undercover to retrieve the Cipher from the Black Widow, but must first learn how to seduce a woman. Who else but the slick and cunning Roan would be up to teaching Chuck some sassy moves? Speaking of moves, Morgan gives Captain Awesome some advice on how to make a date the perfect night for Ellie. Lester, on the other hand, is struggling as the new assistant manager of Buy More.
Catch
Chuck as he returns to television screens on September 29 at 8pm on NBC.
