The video implies that Casey's old military buddies -- not the best of guys in the long run -- have information that Chuck needs to find his long-lost mother. We already know that Mary Bartowski, code-named "Frost," has had an awful lot of shady dealings with less-than-reputable people. It looks like Casey's old cronies are among them.

It seems that the only way to get his ex-friends together is to fake Casey's death. Not surprisingly, Casey does make an excellent corpse (in the suddenly-reanimated-and-grabbing-you-like-a-horror-movie meaning of excellent). The death does draw in the required military types, but the video shows that not all goes according to plan.

Not only do Chuck and Sarah end up in chains, but Chuck also learns some unpleasant information about his long-lost mom. Is Mary Bartowski one of the bad guys? Or is this all just an elaborate cover?

It looks like "Chuck vs. the Couch Lock" takes us one step closer to the answer.
