Last time, we explored Shaw's potential involvement in the Chuck/Sarah pairing. With Shaw's recent revelation that his spy wife was killed by a Ring agent, he and Sarah have that "we fell in love with spies" thing in common, but there are no hints of a budding romance just yet.

Luckily (or not, depending on your stance), there's no shortage of spoilers for this would-be couple. The new romantic quagmire comes in the form of Hannah, played by the lovely Kristin Kreuk who was last seen on television as Clark Kent's first love, Lana Lang, on Smallville. Time out here, but is Chuck trying to fill a quota with actors involved in the Superman franchise? More than likely just a coincidence, but it still warrants a chuckle.

At any rate, sparks fly immediately between Chuck and Hannah on the transatlantic flight to Paris. From their awkward yet adorable introduction ("my friends call me Chuck") to getting truthy about their lives at the airplane bar (he works at the Buy More, she just got fired from her job), it seems our young Charles has found himself a nice, normal girl. Shame that Chuck had to head back to California right away instead of getting to stay in Paris and explore the Eiffel Tower with Hannah. But things seem to be looking up when Hannah walks into the Buy More at the end of the episode to take Chuck up on his job offer.

As next week's promo shows, Hannah joins the Nerd Herd much to the delight of the other guys. Guess they've missed having someone of the feminine persuasion on the team since Anna Wu left and dumped Morgan for one of his Benihana cohorts. With the Herders vying for Hannah's attention, it remains to be seen how she'll fit into Chuck's life. They obviously have a mutual attraction, but Sarah is still very much in the picture, too. Why's a spy to do with two beautiful ladies around?
