Who's down for a quick dose of the latest TV news in 300 words?
NBC is Renewal CrazyI guess things must be going well at NBC because the network is going a little renewal crazy. Yesterday
we told you that NBC has picked up full seasons of
The Event,
LO: LA and
Outsourced (really guys,
Outsourced gets a full season). We also mentioned that the "little series that could"
Chuck was rumored to get a full season order. Well the TV gods are smiling upon us because it has been reported today that NBC has official picked up
Chuck for an additional 11 episodes. This means that
Chuck will live to vs. a full 24 episode season 4!
But that's not all, in even more shocking (read: confusing) news NBC has also announced that they are picking up
Chase for a full season. The U.S. Marshals series that shows both sides of the law is about as exciting as watching paint dry, but I guess NBC has confidence in it. NBC has also given an additional four episode nod to the much ballyhooed (but disappointing) JJ Abrahms series
Undercovers. [

V Gets V EpisodesFans of the ABC reboot of
V (and judging by last season's ratings there aren't many) will be anxious to know the alphabet network has trimmed down their season 2 order from 13 episodes to 10. That's not good news for those hoping to get some resolution to the series that started off strong but fizzled quickly. The production of
V has been plagued with drama as the series changed show runners, timeslots and episode orders all in its freshman season. When
V returns Jan. 4, it will be paired with the superhero family drama
No Ordinary Family. These two shows could fit well together if ABC gives them enough time to get their feet planted. [
