The incredibly talented guest cast of the CBS drama
The Good Wife
is about to get even better with the addition of an Emmy and Tony
winning actress. Kristin Chenoweth will join the show in a recurring
role for season 4.
Chenoweth will first show up in the season 4 premiere of
The Good Wife as a major political reporter who is investigating Peter Florrick's campaign and his marriage. She joins
recently announced season 4 guest stars Maura Tierney and Marc Warren as
The Good Wife's latest additions.
Chenoweth is coming off ABC's canceled
GCB, which aired opposite
The Good Wife several times Sundays at 9pm. She won an Emmy for the ABC dramedy
Pushing Daisies and has also scored nominations for her guest appearances on
Glee. Prior to her TV appearances, Chenoweth made a name for herself as a Broadway star, winning a Tony for her work in
You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown.
In an amusing bit of trivia, Roger Bart also won a Tony for his work in
You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown alongside Chenoweth, and he has a recurring role on
Revenge, which is moving to Sundays at 9pm opposite
The Good Wife. So this fall there's a chance you can see these two Tony winners go head-to-head.
The Good Wife is no stranger to Broadway stars as it features Tony winners Alan Cumming and Christine Baranski.
