This is a sick show about a bunch of losers....who keep jumping from one reality show to another.
After three weeks of detox, withdrawal, therapy and healing, the cast members of
Celebrity Rehab are now getting ready for their much-awaited graduation. However, they must first decide whether or not they want to continue treatment after rehab or go home and risk falling prey to temptation. During the ceremony, each celebrity shares how he or she plans to remain sober after rehab and if they want to take the offer and continue on with sober living.
In
TV Guide's interview with
Dr. Drew Pinsky, the specialist helping the celebrities overcome their respective addictions, and some of
Celebrity Rehab's cast members, it was revealed that Seth Binzer (aka
Shifty Shellshock) is in a residential program in Beverly Hills and continues to see Dr. Drew on a weekly basis, while
Brigitte Nielsen has moved to Palm Desert to avoid the temptations of Hollywood. Both Binzer and Nielsen have no regrets about being on the show.
“I didn't have a problem with the cameras,” Nielsen said. “I had done so many shows drunk, been seen in bad situations, so why not be seen on TV getting better?"
"I just felt like if I was gonna do the show then I was really gonna hang my dirty laundry out and just go there," Binzer explained. "I wanted people to know that I was coming from a really dark corner. For me, it really was a life-and-death situation."
Although
Celebrity Rehab started out with nine celebrities, the series saw two departures through the course of the season.
Daniel Baldwin left during the fourth episode for clashing with castmate
Mary Carey, while Jeff Conaway left during the seventh episode in order to undergo surgery for his bad back.
Catch the season finale of
Celebrity Rehab tonight at 10pm on VH1.
