Celebrity Rehab: Jessica Sierra No Longer Pregnant?
Thursday, February 14, 2008

celebrity rehabFormer American Idol season 4 contestant Jessica Sierra, who now stars on the reality series Celebrity Rehab, is no longer pregnant, according to TMZ.

Confirmation reportedly came from a source close to Sierra's family, though the source could not disclose what exactly happened with Sierra's pregnancy, which was revealed last December.  The baby's father was said to be a rap artist.

After American Idol, Sierra was sentenced to 12 months probation after she pleaded "no contest" in a Tampa courtroom to charges of battery and possession of cocaine, which stemmed from an arrest last April at South Tampa's Hyde Park Cafe in which she threw a cocktail glass at a male patron, causing a cut above his eye.  She violated the condition of her parole and was held without bond and has been in prison since December 1, 2007.  Her attorney John Fitzgibbons made a “not guilty” plea on Sierra's behalf to all charges, but indicated to the court that he ultimately did not anticipate protesting the violation of parole charge, but rather needed time to consult with doctors and come up with some sentencing options for the court's consideration.

While in jail, Sierra was still making the news as Vivid Entertainment announced that it was releasing a 72-minute sex tape titled Jessica Sierra Hardcore, which involved Sierra and a past boyfriend.  Shortly after, it was also announced that Sierra was pregnant.

The 22-year-old reality TV star is currently serving a yearlong stint at an in-house drug treatment facility in California, followed by three years probation for disorderly intoxication, resisting arrest without violence and probation violation charges that rooted from a December arrest.

Last month, Hillsborough County Circuit Court Judge Daniel Perry asked Sierra's lawyer about her pregnancy and if it would impact her treatment at California's Pasadena Recovery Center.

"Their professionals know how to handle this," Fitzgibbons told Perry.  "It's not unusual for them."

Sierra is currently one of the subjects documented in VH1's new Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew reality series, which follows Drew Pinsky as he chronicles the detoxification and treatment of several celebrities.
