Kevin Hart appears as the host of the MTV reality television competition series Celebrity Rap Superstar. He is an American actor and comedian who was born in 1980, and originally came from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He previously worked as a shoe salesman, but after coming out on top and winning in several competitions, he quit his old job and started to perform as a comedian instead. He gained experience performing in several big shows, before moving on to a career in the movies. Among the feature films he has acted in are Epic Movie, Scary Movie 4, and The 40-Year-Old Virgin.
Apart from just acting, he has worked as a writer and co-executive producer of the 2004 ABC television sitcom The Big House, which he likewise starred in. He has also appeared in his own half-hour TV special featured on Comedy Central. Back in 2005, he was presented with a Platinum Mike Viewers’ Choice Award during that year’s BET Comedy Awards. He has also performed at the Just for Laughs global comedy festival in Montreal, one of the biggest yearly organized venues for comedians to perform at.
