In last week's edition of
Celebrity Rap Superstar, the infamous gossip blogger,
Perez Hilton, got the raw end of the deal, going down in a battle with Canadian heavy metal rocker,
Sebastian Bach. Although Hilton did a pretty solid job with Big Punisher's “Still Not a Player,” the judges may have succumbed to the more supple charms of
Kendra Wilkinson, who remains in the running despite messing up halfway through her own performance.
In other news, the recently ousted
Celebrity Rap Superstar contestant has been rallying his faithful readers to shun recent pop flop, Britney Spears, in favor of the Canadian artist Feist.
Hilton is clearly no longer a fan of the dethroned and disgraced former pop princess, whose most recent stints in the limelight have been due to her paltry performance at the latest MTV Video Music Awards (VMA) or the unsurprising loss of her sons' custody to ex, Kevin Federline. The gossip blogger appears to have little tolerance of Spears' wayward antics and he is taking it out on her new music.
“She must be stopped! That is just unacceptable!” the former
Celebrity Rap Superstar entry angrily declared on his website a couple of Sundays ago. Hilton was ranting about Spears' new single, “Gimme More,” which has made its way to the number one spot on the iTunes singles chart.
“As she proved with her disrespectful and half-a**ed performance at the VMAs, Britney does not care about her fans,” Hilton wrote on. “Yet her hardcore fans are buying multiple copies of her single and gifting it to their friends. Like a Los Angeles court said, Britney is a frequent and habitual user of drugs and buying her song is just feeding her addictions. Her fans are not “supporting” her now in their time of need. They are being enablers. And that's not what Britney needs. Britney needs tough love! Britney needs a boycott.”
While Spears has clearly left a bad taste in Hilton's mouth, the gossip blogger is encouraging his readers to support Feist instead.
“Not only does Feist deserve our support but she is incredibly talented and an amazing singer/songwriter/performer, in stark contrast to Spears,” Hilton declared.
