Was not drunk: Paula Abdul and her handlers continue to insist her slurred speech and odd behavior are not the result of any sort of alcohol or drug abuse. If, in fact, this is true, then all the attention must certainly seem unfair, but with what recently happened with Anna Nicole Smith, one hopes if there really is something going on, the need to keep a major show on track won’t prevent her and the people around her from getting her help if she needs it.
