Stephen Baldwin appeared in Celebrity Bull Riding Challenge Stephen Baldwin, one of the celebrities on Ty Murray's Celebrity Bull Riding Challenge, was at the Atunyote Golf Course on Monday, September 17, with brother and fellow actor, Daniel Baldwin, to represent the Carol M. Baldwin Breast Cancer Research Fund.  The charity was the top ticket seller for the Turning Stone Resort Championship PGA Event

The special golf event, which ran from September 17-23, aimed to raise money for different charities in New York City through the ticket-selling initiative.  Each charity was tasked to sell tickets to the event, with all the money they generate going back to them in full.

Ray Halbritter, Oneida Indian Nation representative and CEO, said the tournament was “one of the largest charitable initiatives in Upstate in many years.”  The Carol M. Baldwin Breast Cancer Research Fund helped raise 10 percent of the overall amount with their ticket-selling efforts.

Stephen Baldwin, whose mother has battled the disease and is the heart of the charity, attributed the amount to the hard work and dedication of his sister, Beth.

"There's no better organization than the Syracuse chapter of my mom's fund headed by my sister," he said.  He and brother Daniel played a round at Atunyote, after which they praised the conditions of the golf course.

Stephen Baldwin said the course is one of the most beautiful he has seen.  He also admitted that after he shot par on the first three holes, he “freaked out and started hacking the ball over the place.”  However, his talent on the golf course may very well outdo his bull riding skills, as he left Celebrity Bull Riding Challenge early when sustained serious injuries following a bad fall on the ride.

At the end of Celebrity Bull Riding Challenge's premiere episode, Baldwin was thrown off a live bull and subsequently stepped on, resulting in a broken shoulder bone and fractured rib.  He pulled himself off from the show during the second episode, but returned for the season finale, at the end of which the other eight celebrities were given belt buckles to commemorate their participation.
