Castle season 5 continues on Monday, February 04, with an episode called "Recoil." This is a case that is going to hit very close to home for Beckett when Senator Bracken returns to her life. Check out the preview videos below to find out what happens when her old enemy returns.

In the first preview video, we find Castle and Beckett arriving on the crime scene. Lanie is there too and has quite a bit of information to provide about their latest victim.

Here are a few more things we know from watching the video:

  • Castle has learned to heed Lanie's advice when she tells him NOT to look at a body.
  • Their victim was shot, then all of her teeth pulled and she was dumped in a barrel and burned. Looks like someone didn't want her identified.
  • Lanie finds a very important clue that may lead them to the identity of their victim; a dental implant.

In the second preview video, Castle and Beckett are questioning the manager of a very snazzy hotel, who doesn't look too comfortable about discussing a murder in front of his patrons.

Here are a few more things we know from watching the video:

  • Funny how the word "murder" always seems to get people to open up.
  • Turns out the word "warrant" also has the same affect.
  • Their victim was having an affair with Senator Bracken.

In the final preview video, Ryan and Esposito visit Senator Bracken to ask him a few questions about the woman he was having an affair with, the same woman who also happen to be dead.

Here are a few more things we know from watching the video:

  • Their victim was working with the Senator as a consultant to help him with a keynote speech.
  • The Senator denies any relationship with the victim. Hm, wonder if he's telling the truth.
  • The Senator recognizes Ryan and Esposito as working with Beckett.

What do you think now that you've seen the preview clips for this episode of Castle? Do you think the Senator was really involved in the murder? How do you think Beckett is going to react to being this close to the man behind killing her mother again?

Stay tuned later today for our exclusive interview with guest star Jack Coleman, who plays Senator Bracken as he discusses the relationship between the Senator and Beckett, what kind of affect his visit will have on her, and more.

Castle airs on Monday nights at 10pm on ABC.
