Castle season 5 continues on Monday, January 14 with an episode called "Under the Influence." From the preview videos and synopsis below, it looks like Esposito may be getting himself into what could end up being a scary situation.
First up, check out the official synopsis of the episode from ABC.
When an up and coming DJ is killed at a pop star's album release party, Beckett and Castle must dive into the raucous world of New York's music industry. Then, when the investigation leads to a troubled teenager, Esposito takes the kid under his wing, hoping to put him on the right track before it's too late.
In the first video, we find the team investigating the site where the murder victim was duped. That's when they realize that she would have been at a very influential party the night before and run off to investigate.
In the second preview video, we find Castle and Becket walking in on said party and boy does it look like it was a doozy. They have a meeting with the lady of the house to discuss their victim, but she seems to be a whole lot more interested in catching up on her beauty sleep than talking to them. Will the hostess turn out to be the murderer or will it be one of her very inebriated guests?
In the third preview video, we find Esposito off on his own and visiting what looks to be a very bad man. We can only assume it's about the young man that Espo has decided to take under his wing and though he does a great job at kicking the bodyguard's ass, it still makes me a little nervous for his safety in the future. Will the bad guy come back to seek revenge on Espo?
What do you think after watching the sneak peek videos from this episode of Castle? Got any theories on who the murderer of the DJ might be? What do you think of Espo taking a troubled young man under his wing? Do you think Espo may have gotten himself into something bigger than he can control?
Castle airs on Monday nights at 10pm on ABC.
