Jerry Minor was born on October 4, 1969 in Memphis, Tennessee and was raised in Flint, Michigan. While in Detroit, he started doing stand-up, writing and performing with sketch groups before joining the Second City Detroit mainstage. He later on ventured into Second City Chicago and Second City Toronto. In 2000, Minor appeared in
Saturday Night Live. Five years later he appeared on
The Daily Show as a correspondent and in the television series
Arrested Development as Officer Carter, a prison guard. He is a regular on the HBO series Luck Louie and has appeared on another HBO production,
Mr. Show. In 2007, Minor was cast for ABC's
Carpoolers.
Aubrey is played by Jerry Minor on ABC's television series
Carpoolers. Aubrey is a timid homemaker who finds friends in Gracen, Laird and Dougie, his three suburban carpool mates from different backgrounds. On their daily commute, they find time to just be themselves and express their thoughts on life, family and relationships.
