Actors Jerry O'Connell
and Rebecca Romijn
tied the knot early in the summer, but the two are not exactly experiencing wedded bliss – on screen, that is.
Previously, it was reported that Romijn would be guest-starring on her new husband's half-hour comedy series, Carpoolers
. On the show, the 34-year-old actress, who currently appears as transsexual magazine editor Alexis Meade on ABC's Ugly Betty
, is set to play Joannifer, the ex-wife of carpool member and dentist Laird, played by O'Connell. The episode, the sixth in the season, will air on November 6.

According to Spoiler TV, the sixth episode of Carpoolers
' freshman season is called “A Divorce to Remember.” Laird's beautiful but crazy ex-wife, Joannifer, comes back into his life, but instead of running to the opposite direction, he winds up in her arms and hooks up with her. Moreover, Joannifer's return causes a disruption in all of the carpoolers' lives.
Meanwhile, young couple Dougie (Tim Peper
) and Cindy (Allison Munn
) plan to renew their wedding vows in an effort to rid themselves of the memory of their horrible first wedding ceremony.
The episode also stars Fred Goss
as Gracen, Faith Ford
as Gracen's wife, Leila, Jerry Minor
as Aubrey and TJ Miller
as Marmaduke. Apart from Romijn, the guest-star lineup includes Mike McCafferty (The Invisible Man, ER, The West Wing
) and Shon Little (Everybody Hates Chris, Boston Legal
). McCafferty will portray Reverend Horton, while Little will appear as a judge.
The spoilers end there, and while fans may be looking forward to more episodes of ABC's Carpoolers
, it seems the show is rapidly losing speed in the ratings race. Although the premiere scored a little over 9 million viewers, the show's second week saw a decline, with the number dwindling down to 7.36 million. Last week, the viewer count went down once again, with a show earning a mere 6.96 million viewers.
