ABC will attempt to give its viewers a unique kind of comedy experience with its new pilot called
Carpoolers. The series is about a group of suburban guys in their carpool to work. The said show will debut on the network in September 2007.
So what’s so special about a bunch of guys on their carpool? According to ABC,
Carpoolers will focus in the everyday situations of four male suburbanites who come from different professions and backgrounds. As they get into their carpool, they bring along their personal and private issues, their obsessions, dreams and problems in their daily route.

Fred Goss stars as Gracen. He is an actor, director, writer, editor and acting instructor. He is known for his work on the ABC comedy
Sons & Daughters.
Jerry O’Connell stars as Laird. This actor is popularly known for his starring role on
My Secret Identity. His other credits include
Stand By Me, Sliders, Calendar Girl, Mission to Mars and
Joe’s Apartment.
Jerry Minor stars as Aubrey. This comedian actor has been featured on shows like
Saturday Night Live and HBO’s
Lucky Louie.
Tim Peper stars as Dougie. He has appeared on
Law & Order as Chris Drake and on
As the World Turns as Gordon Richards.
Faith Ford stars as Leila. This 42-year old actress is most famous for her role as Corky Sherwood on
Murphy Brown. She has also starred in
Faith & Hope with Kelly Ripa and in film
The Pacifer.
TJ Miller stars as Marmaduke, the son of Gracen. Miller is an actor and a comedian who has done numerous standup comedy acts.
Allison Munn stars as Cindy. She is known for her role on What About You, and has made appearances on
That 70’s Show and
Jag.

Carpoolers is set to air every Tuesday 8:30/7:30C on ABC.
