"And the worlds just changed," declares Daniel Graystone (Eric Stoltz) on the next episode of Caprica. After an amazing guest appearance on Sarno (their version of Leno) that saved the company but doomed the holoband line (free software!), Daniel is keen on taking advantage of their only remaining piece of technology - the Cylon, which just so happens to be his daughter Zoe (Alessandra Torresani).

On the very creepy promo after the jump, Daniel pitches the quality of Cylons that goes "beyond artificial intelligence." When he says, "There is a being inside this machine, something alive," one can't help but pity the poor dude. This, however, already poses an improvement, mostly thanks to Amanda, compared to their scums of the universe perception rating because of, well, Amanda's little announcement.

Elsewhere on "There is Another Sky" Joseph Adama (Esai Morales) is apparently done contemplating the virtues of conscience and revenge and decides to reach out to his son William/Bill, who as we all know will grow up to be the commander of the Battlestar Galactica when the Cylons destroy the Colonial civilization. On the last episode, Joe was wrestling with his guilt as to whether or not to proceed with the Kill Fracking Amanda plot, and with her Italian-looking mother-in-law constantly hovering above his shoulder chopping chickens and making jokes about kids' fingerbones, we understand the indecision.

As for Joseph's other kid, Tamara, she (or her avatar at least) starts to wander the holoband world eventually finding herself in a new place, although still unaware that she died nearly a month already in the bombing. She finds herself in New Cap City, a place where people live random lives of violence and crime in search of the game's elusive meaning.

Take advantage of Caprica. It might not last long if ratings don't do a major turnaround soon. As Big Love is two episodes away from wrapping up its current season, this SyFy show may very well be the only place where you'll see group marriages - and group sleeping arrangements.
