Keith Robinson was born in Kentucky and was raised in Augusta, Georgia. He was educated at University of Georgia and while there, was signed on as a recording artist with Motown Records. However, the label never released any of his material. Robinson then moved to Los Angeles, transitioning to acting. He landed a starring role as Joel Rawlings, the Green Ranger in the TV series Power Rangers: Lightspeed Rescue. Concluding his work on the series, he worked on films Fat Albert and Mimic: Sentinel. He returned to television on shows such as American Dreams, Monk and Over There. Robinson headed to Broadway in the musical Dreamgirls, where he played the supporting role of C.C. White. He also appeared in the film This Christmas and the UPN series, Half & Half. In 2007, he was cast for the role of Chester Grant in FOX's television series, Canterbury's Law.
Chester Grant is played by Keith Robinson on the FOX television series, Canterbury's Law. Chester, together with Molly McConnell, are the associates who rounded out Elizabeth Canterbury's legal crew. He is a congressman's son who humbly kept quiet about his privileged upbringing and turned his back on politics to help deliver justice where justice is due.
