The series stars Julianna Margulies (Elizabeth Canterbury), Ben Shenkman (Russell Cross), Trieste Dunn (Molly McConnell), Keith Robinson (Chester Fields), who replaced Jocko Sims, and Aidan Quinn (Matthew "Matt" Furey), who took over Linus Roache.

Meanwhile, another player will be joining the main ensemble of the upcoming series.  Asian-American actor Joel de la Fuente has just landed role on Canterbury's Law as Assistant Attorney General Peter Upton.  Though not much has been revealed about his character's storyline, it is known that he'll be recurrently appearing on the legal drama.  He'll be making his debut in the second episode of the series.

Born in New Hartford, New York, de la Fuente is most noted for his role as 1st Lieutenant Paul Wang in 1995's Space: Above and Beyond and for his recurring role on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit as TARU Tech Ruben Morales, a character he has portrayed since 2002.  His other credits include 100 Centre Street and the long-running soap All My Children.

Canterbury's Law is created by Dave Erickson and executive produced by Rescue Me's Denis Leary, Jim Serpico, Walon Green and Mike Figgis, who also directed the pilot.
