American actor Michael Trevino was born on January 25, 1985 in Valencia, California. He began acting in 2005, appearing as a guest on the television series Summerland. The following year, he played his first major role, appearing in the Disney Channel original movie Cow Belles. The program, which starred Alyson and Amanda Michalka (better known as sister musical duo Aly & AJ), was a success in the ratings.
Trevino continued appearing on television as a guest, with roles in Commander in Chief, Without a Trace, Cold Case, CSI: Miami and Bones. In 2007, he took a regular role in the drama series Cane; he played Jaime Vega, the eldest son of Alex (Jimmy Smits) and Isabel Vega (Paola Turbay). After the series ended its run, he took a recurring role in the drama series The Riches, playing Brent, a student at Rosemore Academy who has a crush on Dahlia Malloy (Minnie Driver).
