An actress born on May 14, 1985 in Miami, Florida, Lina Esco first appeared in the film London, where she starred with Jessica Biel in 2005. She consequently appeared on CBS'
CSI : New York and was cast for another CBS production entitled Cane, in which she played Katie Vega. She was also cast for the 2008 movie entitled Kingshighway and has appeared with Nick Lachey on the ACE-Clix commercial.
Katie Vega is played by Lina Esco in the CBS series, Cane. Katie is one of three children of Isabel and Alex Vega, who are the heirs to the sugar and rum business of Pancho Duque. Pancho has long favored his adopted son, Alex over his biological first born, Frank, and is torn between their opposite points of view regarding the family business and life in general. Alex is concerned with the stability of the business, which is being threatened by their rivals, the Samuels, while Frank is more concerned with the money, for which he is willing to sell the business.
