Eddie Matos


Eduardo "Eddie" Matos was born on July 18, 1978 in San Juan, Puerto Rico and was educated in New Jersey. He resided in Miami before relocating to Los Angeles to pursue his dreams of becoming an actor. His entrance to the entertainment industry started with guest appearances in various primetime shows, subsequently landing the role of Ricky Garza on ABC's daytime soap opera, Port Charles. Matos later moved on to play Professor Pete Marquez on another ABC soap, General Hospital. In 2007, he was cast for the role of Henry Duque on CBS' Cane. His other television credits include In Justice, Tru Calling, All About Us, Clueless and The Bold and the Beautiful.

Henry Duque is played by Eddie Matos in the CBS series, Cane. Eddie is one of four children of Pancho and Amalia Duque, the owners of the sugar and rum business that was built by Pancho himself. Eddie is a brother to Isabel, the wife of adopted son Alex Vega, and Frank, the firstborn womanizer who is only interested in the luxuries of life. The Cuban-American family is faced with a lucrative offer by their rival, the Samuels, thus Pancho is torn between his two heir's approaches to the family business.
