Cane - HurricaneThis episode of Cane begins with a Hurricane Warning and Alex and Artie preparing. Pancho and Amalia are on vacation in New York and keep calling to check on things. Isabel is at the gallery with Hudson, the artist.

Alex and Artie are going to the supermarket to buy supplies, when Alex gets a call from the alarm company. A tree branch broke a window at the Duque homestead and Alex needs to take care of it. He calls Santo to pick Artie up and take him home.

As they stand in line, a gangster decides to cut in front. Alex calls the guy out just as the power goes off in the store. In the panic, Artie and Alex get separated. They finally find each other as Santo arrives to take Artie home.

Isabel is stranded in an elevator with Hudson when the power goes out.

Alex, Frank and Henry are all at the Duque home, having been called by the alarm company. Alex and Frank tease Henry about Terry. He decides that this is probably her first hurricane, so he goes off to 'comfort' her.

Instead of being at home, Terry is at the distillery. When Henry gets there, she introduces him to Neville ... her husband.

Gangsters break into the Duque home. One of them is holding a gun to Frank's head. Alex recognizes one of them as the guy from the supermarket. When the storm hits, they decide to stay there until it's over.

Santo and Artie are driving in awful rain, and Santo decides to pull over. They take shelter in a warehouse when the car stalls out.

The gangsters separate the brothers and two of them take Frank with them to show them and open the safe. Alex is left with Manny, the youngest one. He engages Manny in conversation and tries to get him to put the gun down and stop gang banging.

When they bring Frank back, he's having an asthma attack. Alex gets Manny to get Frank's inhaler from his jacket. One of the older guys is taunting Frank about not being able to breathe. Alex jumps him from behind and in the confusion, the gangster gets tasered by his own guy. The gangsters finally get control and beat up on Alex a bit.

Back at the distillery, Henry attempts to explain to Neville that he didn't know Terry was married, and Neville tells them both that he's only there to serve Terry with divorce papers.

In the warehouse, Santo is entertaining Artie with tales of how he arrived in the States on a raft. Santo uses a little creative license to make the story positive and entertaining.

Isabel and Hudson finally got out of the elevator, but it's not safe for them to leave yet. He tells her that he's not going to make the move on her because he can tell that she's not the type. She gets him all hot and bothered with a rebuttal, but then agrees with him.

Frank and Alex are left alone with Manny while the other two get all the stuff together ready to leave. They tell Manny that the plan is to kill them and ask if he's prepared to take that next step. Alex warns Manny that if he does it, he'd better be prepared to see their faces for the rest of his life.

When the other two come back in, Frank starts wheezing again and he and Alex fake an argument. They trick the gangsters into frisking them for money belts and overtake them. Alex has to talk Frank out of killing the one that he has in a choke hold.

After taping them up, Alex calls 911 and reports an armed robbery by two gangsters. When Frank calls him on it, Alex tells him that he sees a little of himself in Manny. He wants to give him another chance.

This episode of Cane ends with a reunion of the Vega family and Frank. They thank Santo for taking such good care of Artie and when he goes to leave, they invite him to stay and tell him that he's family.
