UPDATE: We were contacted this morning by Taylor Swift's publicist, Paula Erickson, after she read our article.  Paula sets the record straight in her email, "I am Taylor Swift's publicist. I see that Kris DeLeon published a story reporting a rumor that Taylor is pregnant. This is absolutely not true. She is NOT pregnant. She has addressed these rumors on her MySpace."

Grammy-nominated country music artist Taylor Swift has been in the spotlight for quite some time now.  And with an album coming out next week, it's quite inevitable for some rumors to fly.  Several gossip magazines recently reported that Taylor Swift was pregnant.

During a series of interviews promoting her new album, Taylor Swift did not acknowledge the pregnancy rumors, though she did discuss her recently ended relationship with Joe Jonas from the Jonas Brothers.  Swift confirmed that Joe Jonas recently ended their brief relationship.

During their brief summer romance, the Camp Rock star and Swift never admitted that they were dating until she recently confirmed the split on Wednesday.  The breakup, which occurred last month over the phone, left Swift in pain, adding that Joe Jonas is the only guy who hurt her “deeply.”

“Yeah, it's not fun—it was a 27-second phone call, yeah!” the country singer told E! News.

In another interview, Swift shared her sentiments about her distressing experience.

"It's been tough," she told Ryan Seacrest on his KIIS-FM radio show.  "You just have to try to realize someday you'll find someone that's right for you."

At present, Swift is focusing her attention to promoting her new album “Fearless,” where she channeled all her heartaches and sentiments.

"[It's] a song about watching somebody completely fade away in a relationship and wondering what you did wrong," Swift told People about “Forever and Always,” the track inspired by her October split with the Camp Rock star.

Swift is clearly not ready to jump into the dating pool but at least, she's learned to use humor to deal with the painful split.  Evidently, she pokes fun at the Camp Rock star in her MySpace page that also features cameos from Selena Gomez and Patrick Dempsey.

“This one even comes with a phone, so he can break up with other dolls,” she said as she playfully addressed one of those Joe Jonas dolls.

“Fearless” is due for release on Tuesday, November 11.
