Burn Notice is currently taking a hiatus en route to finishing the second half of its third season in January, but the USA Network series has been renewed for a fourth season, Entertainment Weekly confirms. While reports of Burn Notice being renewed had been circulating as early as July, sources said things only became final recently.
The 16-episode fourth season is set to debut next summer.
It's not exactly hard to understand, seeing that
Burn Notice's ratings jumped from its season 2 average of 4.8 mil to as high as 6.2 million viewers so far this season. USA Network also picked up
Psych for a fifth season, and along with
White Collar will be moved to new nights come January.
Burn Notice is staying put on Thursday nights, kicking off on January 21.
White Collar moves from Friday to Tuesday, while
Psych will air on Wednesday starting January 27, from its perennial Friday timeslot.
