Emmy award-winning actor Richard Schiff, best known as Toby Ziegler on NBC's The West Wing, will guest star in Burn Notice's season finale.

Burn Notice is a dramedy that revolves around Michael, an international spy who, after ten years of serving his country, suddenly gets burned or labeled as an untrustworthy agent.  His life is turned upside down, and he is left with no money or resources in Miami, Florida.  The series follows him as he tries to apply his extraordinary skills in everyday life while looking for the man who burned him.

Burn Notice
debuted on the USA Network in June.  The premiere episode earned a 2.8/5 household rating and 1.5/5 adults 18-49 rating with 3.985 million viewers.  The show gained even more viewers as it progressed, and by the sixth episode, had averaged a 2.5 household rating and 1.3 adults 18-49 rating with 3.738 million viewers.

In August, the series received an early renewal from the network.  The show's second season will contain 13 episodes, and will show Michael's family in peril, according to show creator Matt Nix.

Co-executive producer Jeff Freilich believes the show's success is rooted in its ingenious combination of comedy and drama.

"It combines all the things that people watch television for," Freilich said.  "It's got action, it's got humor, it's got simple stories, it's got a beautiful look.  And because it's not a bloody show, it's a show the show family can watch together."

The two-hour season finale of Burn Notice will air tonight at 9pm.
