Born Emma Chukker in San Diego, California, on April 8, 1973, Emma Caulfield’s first appearance on television was in Beverly Hills 90210 where she played Brandon Walsh's girlfriend, Susan. She also took the lead role in the movie Darkness Falls and appeared in the television series
Monk as Meredith Preminger. In 2004 she played a fictionalized and unflattering version of herself as a superficial, arrogant actress whose character is imploding in the satire Bandwagon.
Anya Jenkins is played by Emma Caulfield in the television series Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Anya was born as Aud in the year 860 in Sweden. Anya was a vengeance demon, and had a thousand year knowledge of demons. Being a demon, she had the power of teleportation and telekinesis. She was also quite invulnerable and had regenerative powers. However, she became a mortal again when Rupert Giles broke the necklace that was her power center. She then marries Xander as a result of his attraction to her. However, D'Hoffryn causes her to become a demon again when she gets frustrated, hurt and angry. She was killed through a harbinger's sword slain at her back.
