Buffy the Vampire Slayer fans who live in Los Angeles and have some extra cash to spare will be feeling very lucky in March. That's when the cast of the classic genre series will be reuniting on stage for the 25th Annual Paley Television Festival. Named for William S. Paley, founder of both the Paley Center and the CBS network, the annual pop-culture event celebrates television's rich and diverse programming, as well as the creative process behind the medium. During the event, audience members will have a chance to ask the cast questions and see highlights of
Buffy's seven-year run. PaleyFest 2008 will be taking place from March 14 to the 27, and will also feature other exciting events for television fans.

Aside from the
Buffy reunion, the PaleyFest will feature cast and crew members from
Gossip Girl,
Chuck,
Pushing Daisies,
Mad Men,
Dirty Sexy Money, and
Dancing with the Stars. Festival goers will also get the chance to sit in on An Evening with Judd Apatow. Before he was the hit director of films like
The 40-Year-Old Virgin and
Knocked Up, Apatow was writing and producing classic television shows such as
Freaks and Geeks and
Undeclared.
The Paley Festival is set to unveil their complete schedule on February 4, which is when we'll learn more details about which
Buffy cast members will be in attendance.
Sarah Michelle Gellar is rather notorious for not participating in
Buffy gatherings, but now that a few years have passed maybe she'll be in the mood for a reunion.
Considering that
Buffy the Vampire Slayer is my favorite show of all time, I would happily sell off my vital organs, my soul, my ridiculous DVD collection, and my Dark Willow action figure for a chance to go to this. Any takers?
Which Buffy cast member would you most want to meet?
