Previously on
Brothers & Sisters, Justin acknowledged his feelings for Rebecca and did his best to avoid her, hoping to suppress what he thought was incestuous attraction. In an effort to ease Justin's grief, Rebecca revealed the truth about her parentage and Justin immediately compared Rebecca to her lying mother and kicked her out of the house. In the wake of Ojai's catastrophic business deal, Sarah took all the blame for Saul's hasty decision regarding the company's expansion into China. Help came in the form of a merger with Walker Landing, thanks to Holly's devious scheme to bring down the Walkers. With the bank calling in its $20 million loan in 48 hours, Ojai had no option but to agree to the terms that made Holly chairman and CEO of both the vineyard and William's company. Moreover, Saul told Kevin the truth about his sexual identity, and Kevin made a heartwarming proposal to Scotty.
In the second season finale of
Brothers & Sisters called "Prior Commitments," Kevin and Scotty take the next big step in their relationship as they make a commitment to be life partners. But before the anticipated ceremony takes place, Kevin gets ready for his bachelor party and has a flashback of a time he spent with his father.
Meanwhile, Sarah uncovers another agonizing secret that her deceased father hid from the family and Saul finally deals with his identity in a public way. Kitty, on the other hand, asks Robert to not try to fix her frustration.
