The Walkers isn't the only family visible on the set of Brothers and Sisters, because Patricia Wettig's own clan is all too present on and off screen. While she plays Holly Harper on the show, her husband Ken Olin portrays her on-screen partner David Caplan. He's also the executive producer for the show.
Their children are around as well, according to Contactmusic.com. First off, there's son Clifford who works as a writer for Brothers and Sisters. He's penned several episodes of the show, but also has his own list of credentials as an actor. That talent seems to run in the family, as his sister Roxy Olin has shown off as well.
Patricia Wettig and her 24-year-old daughter have both joined the ABC drama, even though the latter has signed on with MTV's
The City. But she does her best with her mom on
Brothers and Sisters, even though she finds it difficult to bond with her cast mates. Worse, all the male actors seem to avoid her.
The main reason for that is being the kid of their boss, Ken Olin. "At first it was hard because they [her family] were all working on it and I wasn't," Roxy Olin revealed. "My dad, he's the boss. Boys on the show don't look in my direction because of my dad, and it drives me crazy."
The actress admits that she's really made an effort in being friendly, but found that her status hindered her from doing so. It must be tough to have her whole clan behind her on
Brothers and Sisters."Dave Annable, Matthew Rhys and Balthazar Getty, they're all like the cutest things ever, and I'm like, 'Hey boys.' And they're like, 'Boss' daughter. No,'" she explained.
Her mom, however, is amused by how things are going. Patricia Wettig told the publication that she really did enjoy seeing her daughter get the attention of her colleagues. She can't help her there, but she does sympathize.
"This is the one downside that Rox just cannot get past," Wettig said. "She is the boss' daughter, and it just makes her nuts."
