ABC Drama
Gilles Marini on 'Brothers and Sisters': Luc Marrying Sarah "Would Be Awesome"
The storyline on Brothers and Sisters has been getting its much-needed boost thanks to Gilles Marini.  Sometimes, even the main plot of Kitty's cancer isn't enough to keep the show going.  Instead, it's the Sarah (Rachel Griffiths) and Luc romance that's storming up the series' ratings.

Actor Gilles Marini has hinted to Entertainment Weekly that he's currently enjoying his appearance on the ABC show, and, like the fans, hopes to stay there longer.  "I'm on Brothers and Sisters, you know?" he said.  "It can't get better than that.  Everyone there is acting royalty.  It's been an American Dream, the whole nine yards."

What's more, the audiences are reacting positively to his character's presence on the series.  Luc has genuine feelings for Sarah, something she's been looking for for a while.

"The character Luc is great, rings a lot of bells to me," Marini explained.  "He's very spontaneous and he's in love with Sarah, inside and out.  Sometimes it's hard for her to believe it.  In Europe, he's a painter and he's doing pretty well over there . He doesn't need anything from anybody.  He has no agenda.  He just loves her!  He's like, 'Well, why should I not be here?'"

"Being here" for Marini might even mean a repeat performance of his Dancing with the Stars fame.  We've already seen him do the tango in a previous Brothers and Sisters episode, but that's not the only thing the actor has to offer.  Dancing could even be just a few steps away from walking a woman down the aisle.  Could Luc and Sarah end up together?

"If we get married, it would be awesome," Marini said.  "What a great story line -- Sarah finding love with someone so different from what she ever had before.  Someone for real loves her.  In life, it happens sometimes that you just meet good people."

But let's not skip to the happy endings just yet.  The actor announced that we're all headed for some more drama on Brothers and Sisters, sooner than we think.

"It gets to something much deeper and more dramatic the next week," Gilles Marini implied.  "It's major.  Everyone will be on a cliffhanger of no way, what just happened, no no no!  It's pretty deep and I cannot wait for people to see it."
