Previously on Brothers & Sisters: Justin and Rebecca discovered they weren't related and admitted their feelings for one another, Uncle Saul (Ron Rifkin) came out of the closet, Kevin (Matthew Rhys) and Scotty (Luke MacFarlane) got married, and the Walkers learned they have a long lost sibling named Ryan.
The second season of
Brothers & Sisters definitely experienced some ups and downs. Series creator Jon Robin Baitz left the show mid-season after running into creative issues with ABC, and shortly thereafter the Rebecca (Emily VanCamp) and Justin (Dave Annable) romance passionately divided the fan base. Some found their sudden feelings for one another creepy and borderline incestuous, while others thought it was a completely natural progression for the two characters.
Those who didn't enjoy the romantic developments between Justin and Rebecca may want to brace themselves for season 3 of the series, which will feature the characters continuing their controversial relationship. Aside from that drama, there will also be two new faces added to the cast on a recurring basis. Actors
Eric Christian Olsen (
The Loop) and
Will McCormack (
Dirt) will be joining the show as business associates of Sarah (Rachel Griffiths). One of them may even end up as her new love interest now that Graham Finch, played by Steven Weber, is out of the picture.
Of course, the one storyline that fans are really excited about is the addition of Ryan Walker. The role still hasn't been cast, and the character's not expected to make an appearance until mid-season. How will the Walker clan react to the news that they have a long lost brother out in the world? Tune in to the new season of
Brothers & Sisters on September 28 to find out.
