
Previously on

Calista Flockhart) expressed her disapproval at Robert's potential vice-presidential post on his former opponent's ticket, while Robert (
Rob Lowe) finally realized that Kitty was happy that he lost his presidential bid and pointed out that his presidential ambitions were a large part of her attraction to him. Scotty (Luke MacFarlane) turned down Kevin's (
Matthew Rhys) proposal to become domestic partners and Nora (Sally Field) decided to heal herself though redecorating the house.

In an unexpected twist, Holly (
Patricia Wettig) becomes the only saving grace for Ojai Foods after a major international business deal goes awry. Meanwhile, Kevin and Scotty share a life-changing moment.
As a heartbroken Saul (
Ron Rifkin) makes a confession, Sarah (
Rachel Griffiths) asks him to respect her decision. Nora, on the other hand, goes through William's old files to try to find some financial documents in attempt to save Sara from her current financial situation.
Another spoiler for his installment focuses on Kitty and Robert as they decide to try to have a child the old-fashioned way after being disappointed with the results of the fertility treatments.
