The missing Walker sibling has finally been found, and Ryan Lafferty will arrive later in the season at last.  On Brothers & Sisters, the family has been hunting for William Walker's unaccounted for child.  Now, in the series' third season, he'll finally make an appearance.  According to E! Online, the actor who has been chosen for the role is newcomer Luke Grimes. 

Upon knowledge that the storyline would cover an illegitimate Walker sibling, rumors were spread that a big name would land the part.  It was reported that Jason Ritter or Jason Dohring would be cast, but it was Grimes who signed on.  Sources revealed that he'll be making his way into the small screen on Brothers & Sisters' 14th episode.  The question now is, how will he fit into the series?

Apparently, when the casting call was released for the part of Ryan Lafferty, the character was described as an all-American kid.  One quirk of his is that he dealt drugs in the past.  He was also raised far from the infuriating Walker crowd, and he doesn't know that they exist.  With Ryan's mother dead, his one real-life connection to the Walkers has become inexistent. 

The only way Ryan can fit into the storyline is if he meets one of the Walker siblings.  This happens when Kitty (Calista Flockhart) goes off to visit the boy's hometown in Bakersfield, California.  She's all set to find out about her little brother, and meets George Lafferty (David Andrews), who has raised Ryan as his own.  He might cause some trouble for Kitty, since he's very protective of his son and has grown suspicious of the Walkers' intentions. 

The sources also say that they're hoping to bring Luke Grimes in as a regular on Brothers & Sisters' fourth season.  That is, if his character works out with both the story and the fans.  Grimes was previously seen on films like All the Boys Love Mandy Lane in 2006 and Assassination of a High School President in 2008.  He'll definitely be expanding his resume with a role on this hit series.

Next on Brothers & Sisters is the episode “You Get What You Need.” It will air on ABC at 10pm on Sunday, October 26.
