With the year dangerously close to ending, ABC presents its last episode of
Brothers and Sisters for 2008. Not to fret though, as we can all look forward to four fresh episodes next year. But meanwhile, we have a preview of tonight's program. Written by David Marshall Grant and Molly Newman, the new installment of the series is titled “Just a Sliver.”
It's Thanksgiving in the Walker family home, but they're not celebrating it together. Nora (
Sally Field) is disappointed that everyone is going their separate ways for the holidays this year. It's only she and Sarah (
Rachael Griffiths) who are left alone for the occasion. However, troubling circumstances seem to pull the Walkers back in, as an emergency threatens their Thanksgiving.
Each of the Walkers fly back in to lend Tommy (
Balthazar Getty) a helping hand, since his daughter, Elizabeth, is in dire need of a transplant from a biological parent. The holidays begin to take a discomforting turn when everyone shows up worried. What's more, the brothers are forced to face the truth about the personality of baby Elizabeth.
Below is a clip of the new episode of
Brothers & Sisters, “Just a Sliver.”
We last saw the Walkers trying to renovate Nora's charity center, encountering difficulties when things don't go as well as they expected on "Unfinished Business." A man from Sarah's past made a return, altering the future of Greenatopia and Sarah's own feelings. Also, Robert (
Rob Lowe) continued to worry about Kitty's (
Calista Flockhart) visit to her potential birthmother. Meanwhile, Tommy wavered in his trust in Holly (
Patricia Wettig) when she does something about the winery without telling him.
Brothers & Sisters also stars
Dave Annable,
Ron Rifkin,
Emily VanCamp, Luke MacFarlane,
Sarah Jane Morris, and
Matthew Rhys. For tonight's episode, "Just a Sliver," the series' cast will be joined by guest stars Kim Rowe and Dierdre Henry.
Catch the Walker family's Thanksgiving on “Just a Sliver,” tonight at 10pm on ABC.
