ABC Reshuffles Schedule, Starts Airing Remaining New Episodes of 'Brothers & Sister' This Sunday

Like other networks that continue to withstand the challenges of the writers' strike, ABC has made some changes in its schedule, shuffling the dates for the premiere of
Cashmere Mafia, and new episodes
Brothers & Sisters and
Ugly Betty, which begins its first-run episodes on January 10.
Last night, ABC postponed "The Feast of the Epiphany," the new episode of
Brothers & Sisters, but gave viewers a new treat with the season premiere of
Cashmere Mafia. Now, the network has set the calendar for the family dramedy's 10th episode of the season on Sunday, January 13, along with the last pre-strike episodes of the series airing the week after.
Warning: May contain spoilers.
As previously hinted, “The Feast of the Epiphany” finds Tommy (
Balthazar Getty) and Julia (
Sarah Jane Morris) struggling to mend their damaged marriage, while Rebecca's (
Emily VanCamp) connection with David (Ken Olin) stirs up some questions about her mother's past. According to Morris, fans can expect
Brothers & Sisters' first episode of the year to have plenty of surprises.
"Now that almost the entire family knows about Tommy's affair, it is only a matter of time before Julia will find out," Morris, who plays the two-timing winemaker's wife, told
TV Guide. "Julia will have some secrets of her own, though!"
"The episode is called 'Feast of the Epiphany,' but there may be some other characters dealing with epiphanies of their own," Morris added. "Get ready for another bomb-filled Walker dinner!"
The 10th episode of the season also focuses on Nora (
Sally Field) and Issac (Danny Glover) as they have a very uncomfortable first date, while Graham (Steven Weber) helps Sarah (
Rachel Griffiths) rebuild some of her confidence with the opposite sex.
ABC has produced 12 episodes for the second season of
Brothers & Sisters. Nine have aired so far, which leaves fans with three left, including this Sunday's “Feast of the Epiphany.”
